About Holden
My teaching approach for Singing is centered around patience, problem-solving, and diplomacy. With 6 years of experience as a Singing tutor, I specialize in guiding students from school to college in developing strong vocal technique, control, and confidence. My lessons focus on nurturing each student’s unique tone and style while improving essential elements such as breath management, pitch accuracy, and vocal projection. I believe that learning to sing is not only about technique but also about expressing emotion and connecting deeply with music.
My teaching style combines patience, creativity, and structure to make every session engaging and productive. I use innovative methods like customized vocal warm-ups, real-time feedback during practice, and song interpretation exercises to help students grow technically and artistically. I also emphasize stage presence, microphone technique, and performance preparation, allowing students to become comfortable performing in front of others and delivering expressive performances.
In addition to Singing, I incorporate ear training, music theory, and improvisation into my lessons to give students a complete understanding of vocal artistry. Whether the goal is to perform, prepare for an audition, or simply explore one’s voice, I design each lesson to match individual strengths and goals.
