About Max
I've been teaching for approximately 8 years now (in Italy and Austria, as well as in the UK), and everybody tells me I'm pretty good at it! One of the main reasons for this is that I just like explaining things. I excel at explaining complex ideas in a way that's easy to understand, especially in A Level Politics, which I achieve through analogy and visual references. I believe that the key to a good lesson is to make lessons fun by building relationships with learners. For EFL students, I can use RP to make myself clearly understood - pronunciation lessons are a particular strength.

For me, teaching is about making lessons fun and engaging, which is where I excel. I know exactly how to tailor lessons to the needs of students, whether producing essay-writing templates or tailor-made games like taboo or board games to consolidate my students' understanding of key terminology. As well as teaching A Level Politics and EFL to any age and level (including IELTS and Cambridge exams), I can also teach GCSE History.

Max is an excellent teacher who plans his lessons carefully in order to maximise student engagement while creating a supportive learning environment. I observed several of Max's lessons while working as the Assistant Director of Studies in a very large private language school and Max really stood out for his calm & friendly manner, range of interactive activities and ability to reinforce learning through his way of introducing and practising new language.
Max is a really dedicated teacher. I have always admired his passion for education and his approach to teaching. His lessons are conducted in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere but he always explains everything very thoroughly. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their English. He is also truly hilarious so you'll be laughing a lot and speaking more fluently in no time.
