About Maria
I am a teacher of ample experience. I have taught from Kindergarten to University Level. Working with students of all backgrounds and ethnicities has been enriching and rewarding. I am constantly updating myself as to new strategies and resources. At the same time, I also use traditional methodology which has proven to be effective. I care about my students; about their well being as well as their performance.

My lessons are individually designed according to each student’s goals and learning style. I provide practice material as well as readings, many of my authorship. I believe in immersing the student gradually into the language. These lessons may be geared to adults, children, and teenagers. A typical lesson would consist of a warm up activity, introduction of the objective, oral and/ or written activities to practice the material. Reinforcement takes place toward the end and a voice memo is provided to the student later.
