As a college student, I relate well to students and know how to explain concepts from a student-based perspective.
I love watching students take on difficult tasks academically head-on and succeeding! Determined students inspire me to stay determined with my own classes and challenges.
I have tutored middle-school students in English and Math and I also tutor my peers in college.

First, I want to meet and get to know where exactly the student needs help! With the students I have tutored in the past, I use different techniques to increase learning based upon the student. I also communicate with the parents to ensure their expectations are being met.
I have worked with middle-schoolers including 4th, 5th, and 6th grades as well as my peers in high school and college.
Stick with whatever class it is! Most of the classes that I tutor are pretty difficult but it is important to work through practice problems - the key in all things are to practice, practice, practice.
One event that sticks out to me is moving to college. Though it was the biggest life-change I have undergone, I thoroughly enjoyed being challenged academically and socially where I grew as a person and student.
