About Jocelyn
Hello learners!
If you're struggling to make connections in your STEM classes, I will gladly help you in the process of synthesizing the material. Learning is and should be fun. I have worked as a supplemetary instuctor-- fancy term for group tutor-- at my college. I have experience with one-on-one tutoring and teach environmental science to 2nd-5th graders on the side.
I will happilly accompany you in your journey to understanding biology, algebra, chemistry, or marine science!
I have worked as an environtmental science field educator and as a tutor at my schools tutoring center.

I usually begin a meeting with a new student understanding what it is their looking to get out of tutoring and what their academic goals are. From there, I like to ave an overview of what has been covered in the semster, where they are presently, and where the class is going.
It is usually beneficial if I am able to have the teacher's email to correspond with.
From there we build a study plan and begin tackling the material concept by concept.
