About April Mae
I hold a masters degree in speech language pathology and I am a trained in PESL (a proven method of accent modification techniques and pronunciation improvement for non-native American English speakers) and my own individualized methods to lead to a more standard American accent for my clients' business and personal pursuits.

Initially, I take an intake interview to discuss my clients' desires for their accent modification. Next, I take a lanugage sample during natural conversation and then we work on the high frequency pronunciation differences to move their spontaneous speech towards a more standard American accent.
