About David
I'm a very experienced tutor, specialising in the top end of Key Stage 2 and the transition to grammar schools; I've also recently written Scholastic's new book on non-verbal reasoning. I have many years of experience teaching in the state and independent sector, while my tutoring has usually involved staying with the same families for years as they have wanted me to work with younger siblings too. I write about the 11+ test for a market-leading test site, have set exams for a top 11+ academy and have recently been employed as editor and reviewer of another top publisher's online English grammar content. Despite my experience I'm a very down-to-earth and approachable tutor who gets on well with every child I've ever taught. David taught my children a number of years, during his time, we found him extremely helpful, approachable and very honest and dedicated, it was sad to see him leave, my children enjoyed working with him and he helped them a lot with their subjects. I will have no hesitations to recommend him.
David supported our son with extra school tuition in the area of english, english literature and verbal reasoning. Our son thought he was an amazing teacher which is quite something for a 11 year old.
