About Margo

Hello! My name is Margo Koby and I am an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at the University of Redlands. I am passionate about helping young players develop their skill set and capacity on the basketball court. I have 4 years of playing experience at the collegiate level, and 2 years of coaching experience at the Division 2 level.

I believe everything that happens on the basketball court is transferable to life, so I take my role as a coach and trainer seriously, while simultaneously providing an atmosphere that allows basketball to be fun.

About the lesson

Basketball lessons offered by Margo are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Redlands. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

What I loved about working with Koby Basketball Training was the honest feedback and pushing the athlete. Coach Koby was truthful about needed areas of improvement and allowed space for growth. Her wide variety of creative drills and skills work allowed me to develop my game in a wholistic way. Secondly, I could really see her techniques pushed me as the athlete to get to the next level in each drill and skill.

Great basketball coach! Her love and passion for this game is unmatchable. I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to train with someone as experienced and knowledgeable as her. I definitely wouldn’t be where I’m today if it wasn’t because of her!
