About Machaela
As a Science Teacher at the high school level, I aim for all of my students to be succcessful and find a passion for learning. Sciece is a difficult subject but nothing beats when a student finally has a topic 'click' in their mind. I love helping students find the joy and passion in exploring the sicences.
I have been a teacher for 3 years now and graduated from one of the top schools for teaching in the country. I have taught everything from Biology, Chemistry, Environmental, and Earth Sciences.

I like to start by meeing students where they are at with their knowledge. I always get an undestanding of what their previous knowledge is, where their class is at and if that knowledge lines up.
If students are struggling with their previous learning I like to help them catch up rather than pushing ahead with things that they dont have the basis for.
