About Mary
I am a mother and grandmother and have learned to have patience, understanding and a sense of humor.
I would like to share the basics of nutrition, cooking, sewing and having fun in the process.
I graduated from CSUS in 2017 with a degree in Family Consumer Science - Education and have a passion for sharing my knowledge and getting people interested in cooking for themselves. I also want people to understand the Nutrition Facts on foods and know what these numbers mean to their health.
I love to have family gathered around, sharing in the cooking experience and enjoying foods together. I want to share this with my students.
I have a passion for helping people learn new things and I want to help people understand nutrition basics and cut through all the confusing information out there.
I have a sense of humor and patience and I want the cooking experience to be fun. If it's fun and not intimidating, people will want to cook for themselves more and eat out less
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Consumer Science, Education.
