About Gia
I can teach in English and Spanish, and you receive the classes in the comfort of your own home.
I enjoy sharing knowledge, tips and tricks. I really love to see people finally grasp an idea or concept that they have not been able to understand before. I rejoice in seeing my students learn and get better at what they love, their progress is highly motivating to me.
At 16 years old I volunteered at an organization that helped families at risk with no resources or access to good quality education in my home country. I was chosen from a long list of candidates to be an art teacher from Kinder to 3rd Grade children. I was overseen by experienced teachers who also guided and trained all of us volunteers, in order to do our jobs successfully and to reach and help our students learn and grow.
I'm a professional illustrator working from home as a teacher while I establish myself in the Art world. I studied Fine Arts at BYUI and I also have taken many other related seminars and courses in my home country and online. I genuinely enjoy teaching and I even used to volunteer as an Art teacher for children at risk. Also worked in vacation camps and small workshops. Teaching either kids or adults.

I ask what experience do they already have regarding art and if they have some sort of previous experience, which materials are already at their disposal, also I ask about what kind of art inspirations they have, which artists they admire and which styles are they aiming for. I like getting to know them better so that I can tailor the class to the needs of each student.

Details
I start with a slot of 60 minutes. Lessons can be from 1 to 2 hours. Anything past the first hour is charged in blocks of 30 minutes. Class times are to be scheduled and paid in advance. If cancelation is not done at least 24 hours before the scheduled class time, payment is non refundable.
