About Jennifer
I'm a PhD candidate in music history at Yale. I've taught writing, history, music theory, and piano classes in a range of settings from large lecture classes to one-on-one sessions.
I view teaching as an open dialogue and collaborative process. My goal as an instructor is to help students learn how to think critically and become more active participants in their studies. I like to meet students where they are by setting achievable goals and skills to work and to create a supportive environment for students based on their individual needs and to help the enjoy learning.
