About Chelsea
I am a dedicated, creative, and fun-loving teacher with a wide variety interests and a pure love for learning. I will help your student to develop their own passion for what they do, no matter what subject we're covering that day.
Sharing my passion for learning is the best part of working with students. I love to not only help them with their studies, but to give them the tools to strive for and achieve anything they might want to accomplish in the future.
Both of my parents are teachers, both public school teachers and private tutors, so I was raised with the some of the best examples of teaching in my very own home.
I have worked extensively as a substitute teacher for all grades in multiple school districts, have taught privately and in small-group settings for more than fifteen years, and have written and implemented curriculum for high-profile educational platforms.

One of my favorite parts of working with new students is finding out who they are as people. Using the excitement each student has for what they're already interested in is the key to applying that fire for new subjects they aren't as familiar with, or think they don't like.
Building a relationship of trust and mentorship is the best way to inspire a passion for learning and growth.
