About Kayla
I've tutored kids grades 6-10 since 2014 and have recently started turtoring freshmen in college. I enjoy helping people succeed and see their success grow. I'm currently a junior in college and have taken many high level english/writing and history courses. I'm also a criminal justice major so I am well versed in government and law.

I start by getting to know where their knowledge base is in the subject(s) they need help in and then work to build up their strengths in those areas. I typically do this by first watching them do their assignment or reading and then asking them to explain the subject to me. This allows me to see where they are stuggling and will assit me in making a plan on how to best assist them.
