About Savannah
Hello! My name is Savannah. I am 18 years old and in my first year of college with plans to get a masters in Education. I have always LOVED English but sadly I know this is not the case for everyone. I believe that English and writing can be fun with the proper practice, structure, and encouragement. I am here to support students through their English endeavors!
I enjoy teaching English because it is sharing my passion with other people and helping them to become more engaged in their learning. I also love working with children and young people, and I really like being able to help people.

I like to start by getting to know a little bit about the student. This helps to raise their comfort level and set a good tone. Then I like to move into school work, gauging their level and their needs. Finally discussing with them where they need help and ending with doing some work on specific assignments.
I would say find a teacher/tutor that is patient and fits your learning style. Not everyone learns the same way and not a teachers teach the same way and I think that is something really important to concider when hiring a tutor.
