About Daniel
I believe every student can succeed! If there is something you are struggling with in your English class, we can work together to help you reach your goal. I am an English teacher with 15+ years of high school and college classroom experience. My degrees are: BFA Theatre, MA English, and PhD candidate in English--Composition and Applied Linguistics (graduation in 5/20). I have a current PA state level II secondary education teaching certificate for English Language Arts (graded 7-12).
I began teaching because of my passion for the arts, literature, and education. I enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals!
I have over 15 years of high school English experience. Additionally, I have worked in several local colleges. I hold an MA degree in English Literature and Criticism and am a PhD candidate in Composition and Applied Linguistics.

We can meet at a mutually agreed upon location such as Barnes and Noble or a library. We can even meet via a Skype session. Prior to your tutoring session, it's helpful if you contact me via email with the particular concept, project, or paper you are working on. This way, I can familiarize myself with your work. If you are struggling with a paper, I always ask my students to come to the session with specific questions about their writing so I know exactly what to look for in your paper.
Be willing to work with your tutor! Your tutor will help guide and coach you, but be willing to put forth the effort. It will pay off in the long run!
