About Mackenzie

Mastering English is the gateway to success! Regardless of the field you desire to embark upon, English will always be a helpful tool. Let Elite English Tutoring bridge the gap between what you already know and being a master at grammar!

I am a middle school English teacher and was recently certified in the subject. I have a passion for guiding young minds to see the importance of developing writing skills and being able to articulate themselves.

I enjoy helping young minds get excited about English! English is composed of many moving parts, but it can be fun.

My passion for teaching began with tutoring, then I moved on to 1st grade, and now middle school.

I am a middle school English teacher and was recently certified in the subject.

I first assess the student's self-awareness. I determine where the student needs the most help and outline attainable goals.

I then implement various strategies to see them through their goals while also implementing progress monitoring.

I have worked with students ranging from 6-14 years old. Many of my students struggle with the basic concepts of grammar and writing.

Students should be self-aware of their strengths and weaknesses in a subject. They should set goals and be prepared for progress monitoring.

I recently viewed my first 8th grade class's graduation. To see their smiling faces and hear their kind remarks solidified my place in education.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should assess where they have the most weaknesses. If a student feels extremely timid about a particular area, they are probably going to need extra work in that area.
