About Lauren
My service stands out in the fact that it is methodical, strategic, and relatable in nature. I can break down very complex English rules in an understandable for all students regardless of their background.
I really enjoy seeing students progress and recognizing their own self-efficacy! That is the most rewarding aspect of teaching English.
I started as an undergraduate in college. I worked with ESOL students and loved it! I continue to enjoy writing and love working with others.
I have my Master's degree in International Affairs and my Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Both degrees require superb writing skills. Throughou the last seven years I have worked on improving my writing skills at a technical level and have become a professional writer. I professionally write and edit in my career as a result of my education and training.

My typical process is essentially the following: (1) finding out what the student needs to learn, (2) what they are struggling with, (3) what their learning stye is, and (4) then develop a manageable plan forward that is tailored to their needs. We will review progress together, make changes, and adapt as needed.
I have worked with students as young as 8 years old and and up to 65 years old. =)
