About Arianna
Looking to keep your high-school aged child academically engaged through another virtual semester?
I’m offering one on one virtual tutoring for high-school level students in English, Biology, Chemistry, and Math (up to calculus). I graduated with honors from Woodside Priory School, and I currently attend UC Berkeley as a Molecular and Cellular Biology major, and during my freshman year, my analysis of Claudia Rankine’s Citizen was ranked number one by Cal’s English department.
While I can do lower level tutoring as well, I would prefer to discuss ahead of time the specific needs of such lower-level students, as I’m more familiar with content at a high-school level and higher.
It's entirely personalized! I love working with students on what they need in particular, without the restrictions that come with teaching a large group of people. We can approach a question from as many different angles as they need to truly understand the concepts that they are struggling with, in an environment free from the pressure and judgement of peers.

Arianna is accomodating of a busy schedule, excellent at explaining high-level concepts with different approaches, and patient when a student gets frustrated or has a hard time understanding a subject. I have personally worked with her on English and Anthropology on a college level, and I walked away from both of those courses with a stronger understanding of the course material and improved grades. With her help, I got an A on my final Anthro paper!
