About Yeen
I am a CELTA certified English teacher with a BA in Language Studies. I can help you improve your English by providing personalized and structured lessons that give you the training and practice that you need. My teaching focuses on grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation that lead to a speaking activity where you can practice what you have learned. I also provide skills-based lessons that focus on reading, writing and listening.
I believe that self-study and practice are important, and I make sure to provide my students with the resources and prepared materials that they need to achieve this.
You’ll find me easy to talk to, warm, patient and caring. I’m good at explaining difficult concepts, making them easy to understand. I’m also very hard-working and will always make sure that my lessons and materials are to a high standard.
I love being a teacher, because when I see my students learn and develop, I feel a great sense of reward. I look forward to meeting and teaching new students like you!

Yeen was very patient with me, and she is also very kind and funny. She knew what I was good at and what I needed help with. She knew how to teach the things that I needed to work on. Yeen teaches good lessons and then gives materials to work on before the next lesson. Lots of value!
I liked that Yeen provided a great mix of listening, speaking and practical activities. She was able to pinpoint my weaknesses and she helped me improve on them. For example , I get confused with my grammar, and she picked up on that and helps me out with that at each lesson. She has a lot of patience and she genuinely wants to help me improve. Yeen listens to what I want to achieve at each lesson. The lessons she prepares for me is carried out in an easy to understand way and is always fun! I can only describe Yeen as a superb teacher!
