About Jessica
I have been an English teacher for middle school for 3 years. I am also certified to teach all subjects from grades K-5, English to grades 6-12 and special education all grades.
Ever since I was a child, I have always wanted to be a teacher, never anything else. So, when it was time to apply to colleges and choose a major, it was the only choice.
I have been a middle school English teacher for 3 years. I am certified to teach all grades (K-12) with a special education degree as well.

The first thing I would do when working with a new student is to get to know them personally. What are their interests? What is their favorite subject? Their least favorite subject?
Next, I would learn how THEY learn. Are they a visual learner? Auditory learner? etc...
Then, I would introduce myself and we would get started with the lesson.
I have worked with a variety of students. I have worked with all ages, special education and general education.
