About Ilan
To me, tutoring is all about human connection. I cultivate a lighthearted, fun, and open atmosphere, because the best learning happens when everyone feels safe, heard, and comfortable.
-Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies and Hispanic Studies from Vassar College (General Honors, Departmental Honors in Media Studies, Phi Beta Kappa)
-Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) - 120-Hour course through the Uni-Prep Corporation
-One year of experience as an English Language Assistant at an elementary and a high school in Seville, Spain.
-Two years of experience as a writing consultant at the Vassar College Writing Center
-Three years of experience as a program assistant at the Great Books Summer Program at Amherst College and Stanford University
