About Jonathan
Having a lifelong love of literature and cinema, I always aim to share and inspire that enthusiasm with those I tutor.
I graduated from Sarah Lawrence College, a private liberal arts school that values "wisdom with understanding," above all else. Since graduatiing in 2016, my writing has been recognized internationally in a number of screenwriting contests.
This fall I'll be attending Savannah College of Art & Design, for my Masters in Dramatic Wrtiing.
I enjoy being able to help others where they need it, but the greatest reward for me comes with the glow of a student that is not just learning the material, but learning to believe in themselves.
After years of tutoring sibling and peers throughout highschool and college I've found it invaluable to calibrate my teaching-style to best fit how a student learns.
It's also important to me to get to know my students and build a friendly repor with them, both to put them at ease and to build a positive association with supplemental education.
