About Megan
I recently earned a bachelor's degree in English, with a minor in editing, from Brigham Young University. The English degree helped me with critical thinking and analysis, while the editing minor helped me to really dive into the English language and learn how to write clearly.
I also volunteered for three months as a tutor for Project Read in Provo, Utah and loved it. I learned how to prepare lessons to help my student understand and read English.
I want to help others love reading as much as I do. Reading and writing is a critical part of our everyday life, and I want everyone to be able to read and write well. I love helping others learn how to express their thoughts through writing, and I want to help students feel confident in their writing in the areas it matters most, like applying for schools or a job.
I will help students learn grammar and basic punctuation rules. I can help students as they read books and analyze them, encouraging them to discover and learn on their own. I can then help them write a paper and learn how to make paragraphs and sentences transition smoothly.
