About Jael
I love learning and teaching. I am a professionally trained researcher and tutor. I studied social research for both my BA and my MA. It is rewarding to master new subjects or watch others master new subjects with my help. I truly enjoy working one-on-one with students and helping them reach their goals.
I have 7 years of experience tutoring. I have linguistics training and I am an expert in helping students with adavanced expression in English. This means that I help you express your thoughts and ideas clearly, or understand complicated texts. I have a proven track record with ESL, reading/writing, study skills/ test prep, and remedial English students.

I've always loved teaching. The first class I ever held was during Vacation Bible School when I was 15 and assigned to look after 6 year olds.
I am a trained social researcher, specifically education research. I have two University degrees, I am a certified French speaker, and I have linguistics training.

First, we will have a consultation. It usually lasts 30 minutes. I explain the online tools that I use to teach. I get to know you and what your goals are. Then, together we make a plan so that you can reach your goal.
I have worked with students between the ages of 4 and 85. I have worked with all ages and all levels of English.
