About Sophie
Hi! My name is Sophie and I am a senior English Literature major at the University of San Francisco. I have experience writing hundreds of essays and reading countless books, and I have a real passion for the English language. My writing experience ranges from essays to journalism to copyediting to grant proposals and everything in between. I also have close to 10 years of accumulative childcare experience and love working with kids, especially when it comes to reading and writing! I am patient, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and able to help students with a variety of writing-based needs from vocabulary, grammar, and spelling all the way up to AP English courses. My goal is to help each student become confident with and enjoy using the English language to its fullest capacity, whatever that may mean for each individual.
