About Natalie
I'm a pre-vet Animal Science graduate from Cal Poly SLO, and I have been tutoring students for the past 8 years. I have worked in a professional tutoring setting as well as independently. I love setting goals with students and watching them succeed and gain confidence in their abilities with my help.
I love getting to know students and watching them succeed, whether it be on a simple assignment or on a final exam. When I was younger, I had a math tutor who had an incredibly positive impact on me and inspired me to later start tutoring. Working together on assignments and studying makes it easier, more enjoyable, and increases success for both students and the tutor.
I graduated from Cal Poly SLO in pre-vet animal science. I worked as a tutor for a company while I was in high school, and I tutored in subjects ranging from geometry to French to AP Literature. I also tutored privately with a specific set of students who I worked with for years. Finally, I tutored at Cal Poly my freshman year through the school's program.

When working with a new student, I like to first get to know them, their interests, and what they like to do. Then, we go over what they feel they are struggling with the most and what they feel they are strongest in in terms of school. We will create a plan for how our future sessions will look, as well as set specific goals.
