About Maya
I truly believe that anyone can find a love of words and writing. Language is so beautiful and important! I am passionate about English and writing and I will make sure to put you at ease and empower you to achieve your best. I was a tutor at my university's center for academic achievement for two years and loved the work I did there.
My favorite thing about being a tutor is seeing the moment where my tutee understands something new. I think tutoring is all about learning and feeling empowered to ask questions and take initiative.
