About
I've got 25+ years' teaching and tutoring experience teaching effective writing and communication.
I have the skills and experience to assist people seeking help at every level (K-22, post-graduate and professional), in any writing context (technical, professional/business, expository, and creative writing)
My philosophy and work has resulted in repeat customers for as long as I've been in business.
I make words do things, in context. My goal is to help those I work with a) understand and articulate their goals, b) identify the targeted success variables, and c) support their ability to navigate toward and beyond that goal through written, spoken and visual messaging.
I enjoy facilitating the process of self discovery, particularly when the person is genuinely engaged in and invested in their own potential to learn.
I like it especially when the proverbial lightbulb goes off--witnessing that moment when people realize certain types of imaginative risks reap reward, and that they have within them the power to change their world for the better -- as well as access to the tools needed to do it.
I also enjoy working with a wide variety of people and perspectives. Variety enriches life, and makes it ever more possible to discover commonalities across difference.
