About Gigi
I'm young so I can connect and relate to students. I can find interesting ways to teach that keep students engaged but still learning.
My favorite part about teaching and tutoring is seeing the excitement on students faces when they finally get something they couldn't understand before. No matter how long it takes to get to that point, that moment, big or small, is incredibly rewarding.
I started teaching and tutoring since I was in highschool. In my most recent job, I taught a class of non-English speaking 2nd graders both math and english as well as a dance enrichment class for kindergarten to 2nd grade. I have experience teaching students from grade K-12.

I'll ask the student what area of student they want to work on, find material to assess how well they know the subject and work from there. I make sure to always start from a point the student feels confident and comfortable. I try to learn a little about the student as a person- interests, hobbies, passions so that I can bond with them and try to incorporate their interests and personality into whatever it is they are learning.
