About Libby
Hello! I've been teaching English for 2 years and have worked with all levels from beginner to advanced. I make sure that our classes are conversation based while also ensuring that grammar and vocabulary are supplementing the conversation practice we have. I believe real world experience is extremely valuable, which is why I like to focus on conversation with written exercises to complement the learning.
I also have taught writing and poetry workshops and love to share creative writing with the people around me. When I've had students interested in both, I've combined writing and ESL classes, so they they learn ESL while learning about creative writing and poetry.
Additionally, I worked for 2 years as a holistic health coach. During this time, I coached my clients through nutrition and life habit changes, guiding them to create lifestyles that reflect what they want for themselves, physically and emotionally.
