About Gerardo
Good financial health is as important as physical and spiritual well-being and crucial to a happy life. Together, we will take a detailed look at your financial situation and develop a plan to help you organize and manage your finances. With my assistance, you will learn how to prepare a budget, prioritize your expenses, set aside enough money for an emergency situation and, in turn, achieve your financial independence or a comfortable retirement.
My background is in finance and my current work is mostly about assisting people to develop good, lasting financial habits to achieve their financial goals.
I find it very rewarding to assist people in developing healthy financial habits and building their financial strengths to better enjoy life.
I have always considered liberty a supreme value and financial independence a very important part of it. During my career as investment manager I realized it was crucial to lead a healthy financial life for people to spend wisely, save and become financially independent. This made me switch from investing people´s money to assisting people to organize their finances and save the money to invest.
My formal education included an Engineering Degree and a Masters in Business Administration. I have worked in the corporate world as investment manager and managed individual´s investments for over 20 years.

We will discuss your situation during our initial interview and if you decide to go forward and contract my services we will usually meet for 5 sessions on a weekly basis, during which we will review your income and expenses, prepare a working budget, discuss expense priorities, assign an emergency fund amount to achieve and come up with a savings target.

Gerardo has helped make my life much easier and I couldn´t be happier with the results. I learned how to budget my expenses and realized I was spending way more money than I thought on certain items such as dining out and shoes. I also found out I could save on my monthly (cable TV bills) as I was paying for some services I never used. Cutting on those expenses I was able to bring down my credit card debt and start putting money aside for an emergency.
It was somewhat difficult in the beginning to tackle these changes but Gerardo helped me through the whole process.

Details
After an initial FREE interview (about 45 minutes) to discuss your situation and find out if we have a good fit and I am able to help you with your finances, you will pay $125 per 50 minutes session. Each session is paid in advance. Cancellations are accepted if done at least 24 hours before the session.
