I like to do an assessment to see what their skill level is from rookie to advanced in order to set an appropriate level of training in which to progress from.

Make sure you hire someone who is patient and able to understand where your child needs help the most.

I train my nephews on route running when possible. I have a video of my nephew breaking away from a defender and it is my favorite memory.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students need to figure out if they actually enjoy the sport they are going to hire someone to train them to be better at. It's a waste of my time and their time and money if the student has no interest in playing the sport. I can deal with a lack of confidence in ones abilities, but you have to like it in order to put forth the effort needed
