About Aleena

Hi, I’m Aleena, a second-year medical sciences student offering tutoring in elementary math (grades 4 to 8) and high school physics (grades 9 to 12).

I’m a very hands-on and visual tutor who focuses on making concepts easy to understand rather than memorized. I adapt my teaching style to each student, whether they learn best through step-by-step explanations, visual examples, or repeated practice.

My lessons are structured but flexible. We start by reviewing key ideas, then break down new topics in a clear and simple way, followed by guided practice and independent questions to build confidence. I always make sure the student fully understands the concept before moving on.

What sets me apart is my ability to explain things in a calm, clear way and adjust quickly to different learning styles. I aim to make math and physics feel less stressful and more intuitive.

My lessons are for students in grades 4 to 8 needing support in math foundations, and grades 9 to 12 students looking for help in physics and problem-solving skills.

I begin by identifying the student’s current level and any gaps in knowledge, then break concepts down into simple, step by step explanations. I often use guided practice where I solve problems alongside the student before gradually moving them toward independent work.

A typical lesson includes a quick review of previous material, introduction of a new concept with clear examples, followed by practice questions that increase in difficulty. I always end with a short recap to reinforce learning and ensure confidence before moving on.
