First establish a students level of French with a 2-minute oral conversation and from there see what student needs most help with.
Ive worked with beginners who have very little to no knowledge in the subject and students who do not fully grasp basics in French.
Half the time, learning any language takes place outside the classroom by using other resources to expand vocabulary. Once the basics are grasped, you're ready to go discover and learn more!
