When I consider my time as Mrs. Morman's student, I specifically appreciate her profound ability to communicate clearly and meet each student at his or her level, academically and emotionally. Mrs. Morman possesses an acute discernment which gives her the ability to capture the heart of her students in order to motivate them towards full comprehension of the material at hand. Beyond all of her technical expertise, I will be particularly grateful for the role she played in championing my own gifting, supporting me unconditionally, and being the proverbial "wind beneath my wings" as I sought to succeed. Mrs. Morman is a high-caliber, professional, and engaged educator, and. without her I wouldn't be where I am today.

Her joy and passion for the subjects and life are infectious. Many many years after she taught me, she still remains one of my favorite!

In short, Mrs. Morman changed my life as a middle schooler because of her love for the individual, attention to enjoyable learning, and contagious energy.

From a didactic perspective, she made Latin fun (which is no small task) and relevant. She took me from having never taken a Latin class (or any foreign language) to scoring Summa Cum Laude on the National Latin Exam. As an engaged student, it was nice to have a teacher who not only matched my desire to learn with a motor for teaching, but exhorted me to surpass my natural motivation. For my friends who were less interested in the subject, they still looked forward to latin class. It was my entire friend groups favorite course. Which is pretty shocking honestly. And it was all due to "Magistra" Morman.

2. From a human perspective, Mrs. Morman is kind, caring, and loving. It is in her nature to be good and it oozes to her students. Her energy is seemingly endless, and her kindness is impactful.

3. From a lasting impact perspective, there are only 4 teachers from 17 years of schooling that I can say directed me into the man I am today. Mrs. Morman was one of them (and did so when I was in middle school. truly lasting).

Because this review sounds like a paid endorsement (which it is not), I will humanize her. Her favorite adjective used to be "uber" so when the ride-share company came around I was ahead of the curve. She also does this odd horse noise (drama I guess) that is memorably silly.

You won't regret working with her! Contrarily, it will be your greatest joy!

Mrs. Morman made a lasting impact on my life as a teacher. She not only knows what she’s talking about but makes it fun and interesting to learn. She takes time and care with each student, always making sure their specific learning needs are met.
I learned so much from her and even several years later, hold on and use some of the same things she taught me in school!
