About Ian
About Me:
My name is Ian Gervais. I’m 33 years old and a civil engineer by profession. I’ve been playing golf for over 25 years, competed for four years in college, and have maintained a 6‑handicap or better for the last 15 years. Golf has been a constant in my life, and now I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with golfers of all ages and skill levels.
What I offer:
- Beginner lessons covering rules, fundamentals, and swing basics
- Intermediate coaching to improve consistency and correct swing issues
- I teach golfers of all ages
- Personalized practice plans and swing-aid recommendations
- Affordable rates
- One time or recurring lessons
- I travel to you (within reason)
My approach:
All lessons begin on the driving range, where we focus on simple, effective adjustments that make an immediate difference. My goal is to help new golfers build confidence and help experienced golfers break through plateaus. After just one session, you’ll leave with clear steps to improve your game.
My rates:
1 hour - $75

Perfect! There was no pressure. He was able to explain detail that was understandable on what I was working on, which made it much easier to follow through..
Perfect! Ian made booking lessons easy! He took the time to talk about what we wanted out of the lessons. The lesson was fun and easy going. I think he helped my son improve his game and to enjoy golf even more.
