I've been studying Tai Chi for 15 years teaching for 11. I enjoy teaching beginners and find fulfillment in seeing them discover new ways of being present in their bodies and movement.
This is a beautiful art form that I share wholeheartedly.

Rubia is a knowledgeable, motivating and patient teacher. I have been studying Tai Chi with her for five years. The experience has been wonderful.
She was always a calm presence and met me where I was. She can accommodate any level and has an emphasis on moving energy versus just doing the movements. Definitely a transformative experience each time.
She has a good rapport with her students and helps them to learn to adapt the movements to their individual bodies. She teaches students to identify their tendencies so they can self-correct during the series.
Gentle and rigorous attention to form and movement; warm and compassionate in leadership; delightful and engaging. Forever the model against which all others are to be compared.
