About KATHERINE
Hello! I am a licensed teacher with a passion for education & young people. I am available for in-person and remote tutoring. My specialties include, but are not limited to: writing, executive functioning, social studies, history.

I am from and currently live in the Boston area. I graduated first in my class & summa cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Film Studies & American Studies. During my time at BC, I was heavily involved in on campus tutoring and served as a teaching assistant to several of my proifessors.
I went on to receive my Masters in Social Studies Education from Columbia University, Teachers College. I am certified as a Social Studies teacher (7-12 grade) in New York & Massachusetts.
I have four years of in-classroom teaching experience working with students.
