About Vinny
I take pride in teaching students skills that they would not learn in school. My business stands out with an individualized lesson plan catered directly to each student, because no two students experience the same needs. Although I will be a first-time tutor, I had the privilege to work with two students on the Autism Spectrum during my senior year of college. I taught them valuable skills in career readiness, including, but not limited to, how to write a cover letter, how to format a resume, and how to present yourself during a job interview.
I am currently taking a gap year between college and law school, so I am looking for a job to fill my time.
I graduated from Saint Joseph's University as a history major and a political science/international relations double minor, so I had many writing assignments within my courses. I also took an English course that taught me how to write in a professional setting, i.e. how to write a cover letter, how to format a resume.

When I meet with a new student, I ask the following questions:
What are your top strengths in your subject?
What are the areas you need to improve the most?
Where courses are you taking or have taken that include writing assignments?
From there, I can create a lesson plan that is individualized for the student.
It will be the first time I am working as a tutor, so I have not yet worked with any students.
Look for a tutor that is willing to get to know you personally. That way, the tutor will better understand your needs as a student and can create a better lesson plan that is catered directly to you.
When I was a senior in college, I had the privilege to work with two students on the Autism Spectrum. I taught them valuable skills in the workplace, including how to write a cover letter, how to format a resume, and how to present yourself in a job interview.

My sessions will start at $50 for one hour. If the student needs a longer session, I will charge $50 for the first hour, then prorate for any addtional time.
