My skill has grown leaps and bounds with instruction from Dyce before I was making noise now I am making music.

I've been taking lessons with Dyce for over 3 months now and it's been a great experience. I feel like I have been able to connect more with my guitar and with music overall. I have taken lessons a while ago with different instruments, and I had a couple of guitar instructors a while ago as well, but I have never felt so satisfied with Dyce's mentoring compared to my previous instructors.

Dyce has a way to not only teach you about music, but to also show you the importance of it, and he is very succesful to share his energy and passion for music. He doesn't just sit down with you and tell you what to do, and then the class is over. He is very careful to explain the reasoning behind everything and is very patient when teaching you what you have to play step by step.

It is very important that when you are learning music by choice; to not find a teacher that would turn your lesson into a classroom, yet find someone that can turn the lesson into a place where you are there for fun and pure love for music. Dyce is very successful at achieving that, and unfortunately time flies when you least expect it.

I particularly chose the path of blues and soloing, and Dyce is doing a great job on introducing me into that world. More than an instructor, he becomes your mentor/older brother. And is great to be able to ask him about anything in regards to music, he has an asnwer for everything. I would definitely give him more than five stars!
I hope to one day become a pro under his mentorship.

What a phenomenal experience. I haver never attempted to play an instrument and yet I can play along with a few songs now! Only a month in and you can expect me to come back for more.
Dyce is a terrific instructor, taking you into his home, and teaching you how to jam. I can say that my playing has improved a lot more since taking classes with Dyce. I don't think I have seen someone as patient as him. You tend to find guitar teachers to be great player, but lousy teachers. Dyce is the exception. He has managed to keep me focused, and when I try to get ahead of myself, he is quick to keep me on track. He has a gift of noticing when I'm frustrated/discouraged, and he always seems to find the right song to teach me in order for me to get hyped up again. Worth every penny.

Dyce was my guitar teacher for a year and a half. Dyce is a an amazing musician and teacher. I always avoided bar chords and now I play them with much more ease and have learned a plethora of songs and continue to play daily. I highly recommend Dyce to anyone who is looking to learn from the best!

My favorite guitar instructor. Very professional and organized. Great at understanding my needs as a student. I tell him what I want to learn and he gets me there but with no easy short cuts. He's a real guitar instructor that understands the pedagogy of guitar.

Dyce is an amazing guitar teacher. He adjusts to your level whether you're a beginner or an experienced guitar player. I've learned so much from the short time that I've been taking lessons. He takes my interests in mind and really makes my guitar experience one that is beautiful and enjoyable. His vast knowledge of the guitar is absolutely insane.

Dyce is an excellent teacher. I really like his approach - focusing less on technical details and more on playing by feel. I also like the fact that even at an early stage he has us playing along with popular, recorded songs rather than just practicing solo. I strongly recommend Dyce for guitar lessons.

I have been playing guitar for about three years. When I determined that I was probably not going to improve much more on my own, I began searching for an instructor and was directed to Dyce. Right from the start it was apparent was that Dyce was able to discern precisely where I was at in my playing, and more importantly, able to custom design a track for my progress.
