About the lesson

1. To target specific areas of academic need.

2. Identify areas of learning that need to be focused on.

3. Start basic understanding and review of those concepts and areas of need.

4. Provide review and continued support to strengthen area of need.

I have worked with a vareity of students with varying academic abilities. I have taught Special Education classes, Generalized Education classes, Honors Classes and Advanced Placement Classes.

1. As a history teacher, the best advice to give any student is to first target specifically what you need assistance in.

2. Secondly, every student should determine what is the best approach that works for them.

3. Third, my goal is to combine what you need assistance in with the manner of instruction that works best for you. In general, history is best learned when compared to modern day and put into a context and pespective that is connectable to the student.
