About Amy

I specialize in beginning riders and riders with fear. I have a well rounded approach, incorporating both English, Western, Natural horsemanship and Equine Assisted Learning methods. I have been an equine enthusiast for over 30 years and have owned, trained and ridden over 5000 horses.

I can also provide consultation to people experiencing behavioral or moderate health issues with their horses, or to those wanting to purchase or sell a horse. I can also help you with tack fit, trailering and corraling options. Equine transport also available!

I am a life long equine enthusiast and sharing my passion for horses is both enriching and enlightening for horses and people.

I have been an active part of the Equine community for over 30 years. I have studied dressage, natural horsemanship, Spanish, English, Western and Theraputic modalities.

I managed a world class equine facility at Gateway Canyons Resort for 8 years, giving lessons and tours to guests from around the world.

I also lease horses and burros to youth summer camps, Therapy programs and private families.

It is important to me to get to know my new students and their Horsemanship goals! I strive to create mutually beneficial relationships between horses and humans.

Anyone with an interest is welcome! I have taught all levels from small children to accomplished adults. I especially enjoy special needs equestrians!

Find a teacher that lifts you up and challenges you!

I hosted a summer camp of 13 children at my place June 2019. It was a most beautiful day! Children learned about ranch life, had an equine assisted learning session and picnic!
