I enjoy sharing the knowledge that I have acquired over the years, with those that are willing and looking to learn. I love meeting new people from different backgrounds. I love horses and I love people!

I was ALWAYS intrigued and in love with horses! BUt I didn't get the chance to ride until I was 29 years old! I bought my first horse 2 years later. I took hours and hours of lessons, and still do so today. My husband and I now have our own, small horse boarding and lesson stable. We have been ionvolved with horses for over 30 years!
I am a CHA (Certified Horsemanship Association) Instructor certified to teach both English and Western riding disciplines. In addition, we highly promote and teach Natural Horsemanship techniques for the safety of both horse and student.

On our first session, we try to get to know you and what your needs and desires are. We do our best to tailor each lesson to the individual, and vary our program accordingly.
I teach mainly beginning and/or novice students. Most of my students are teenagers or adults, although I have taught many children as well.
Please never be afraid to ask a question! The only stupid question is the one you wanted to ask but didn't! Make sure you feel comfortable with the facility, horses and teacher. It should be a good fit for your needs and desires. Interview and visit several different stables and then, follow your heart!
My husband and I participate in many equine related events. Perhaps we are most fond of ROLEX, which is the 3 day event held every April at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY. We volunteer as Obstacle Communicators for the Cross Country Event.

Please know that being honest in your abilities, and in your goals is key! After that, questions are encouraged and will be answered in the best of our ability. If we don't know something, we will find out!
