Experienced tutor in Literacy in Oakland, Deborah offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Deborah is just the most incredible, kind, and patient person and I really owe everything to her in terms of my college acceptances. I have always been more interested in the STEM side and was never good at writing and expressing myself. Deborah worked with me on 10+ essays for a variety of colleges including UCs and ivies from personal statements to short responses. The clarity, creativity and energy in her writing is just amazing and what I found to be most helpful of all is her talent to guide your thought process and put into words exactly what you are thinking. I still treasure the discussions and conversations we had during the application process - it definitely was partly soul searching :) I was lucky enough to get into Harvard, MIT and some UCs and truly it would not have been possible without Deborah!!
