About Matt
We want to make you strong and teach you to defend yourself. But none of that matters if you're not growing in your heart and in your mind as well. The creator of Tang Soo Do, Grandmaster Hwang Kee, said Tang Soo Do is “an art eternally inseparable from the human body.” With the right instruction, it changes you from the inside, out.
We were so excited with what we were learning we had to share this life changing experience with the world.
We have 3 Senior Master Instructors on Staff. We go for indepth seminar trainings at our Federation Headquarters for periodic exams for certifications.Our Leadership Staff takes our course to further their knowledge on how to properly instruct our students. We take classes at the Anderson Center and are a certified Autism Friendly Environment. We have been certified in CPR.

We offer a tour of the facility and have them watch a class if they are nervous. Some younger children like to sit with mom and dad for a bit before joining the class. That is perfectly ok. Next step we encouge a trial lesson. During which we have an instructor buddy up with them to help out with any questions during class.
We have had the honor to work with dads,moms,children on the spectrum,busy families training together.Teenagers, experienced former martial artists, and beginners.
My advice to anyone and everyone looking to start martial arts classes.
1) Sit,enjoy and watch them teach a class.
2) Meet the people and the families that have their children enrolled, speak to the people that train there.
3) Go take a free no obligation trial lesson if it's offered.Honestly, it's a great way to see if this is what you're looking for and interested in.
4) Really talk to the owner about the cost- if they won't tell you up front,they are hiding something.
5) Ask if there are any hidden fees
6) Don't sign a legally binding contract! they are hard to get out of
7) Go with your gut!
8) Last but very, very important! If they pull out a contract and say "Just sign here and we will give you a free month" ...RUN!!!!
We were invited to teach a Self Defense seminar at Dutchess Community College for a "Live Your Dreams" all girls event they had. It was tremendous. They had so many different activities for these young ladies to take part in.

I love T&T Karate. They have been fabulous with my son Jayson. He's an Autistic teenager and they have done wonders for his self esteem. Everyone there is extremely nice and we enjoy the Power words each month. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My daughter has been training with the teuschler's at T&T Karate for 5 1/2 years she is now a 2nd don she had some behavioral issues that the disaplen they teach has helped out a lot. My other daughter wanted to be like her sister a strong and powerful young lady so she joined almost 2 years ago they love it the teuschler's are like family to us .

T&T cares about you and your family. Very family oriented with something for everyone. Karate classes for all children and adults and even for those who like to workout, but not wanted to learn the martial arts, there are workout classes for adults at different times for convenience to work around karate classes and your working schedule.
T&T Karate is so much more than kicking and punching. Superior martial arts training as well as character development skills that will follow your child for a lifetime. T&T also has a wonderful fitness program and women's self defense program , so there is something for all ages !
