About Eric

I feel so honored when my students thank me for helping them not only understand hard to follow course material, but for successfully completing job interviews, being rewarded for great job performance, and for delivering on-point investor pitches. It is a privilege to help people using my experience gained from multiple advanced degrees; media and public speaking; and real problem solving in government, corporations, startup companies, and academia. I look forward to even more amazing conversation with students, faculty, and industry leaders like those that I’ve had while teaching at places such as California Miramar University, the Naval Postgraduate School, UCLA, UCSB, and Central Texas College. I learn every day from teaching engineering, science, geophysics, business, marketing, entrepreneurship, and martial arts. Learn more here: (concealed information)

I remember watching teachers quickly writing math on the classroom board, without explaining what the math meant. As a result, we just copied what they did and then tried to do the same thing. After lots of math, advanced degrees, publishing papers, and applying math in the real world, math finally started to make sense.

I feel sooo good when students tell me that they can understand business, math, and science without going through all of the pain that I went through.

I spend about a third of my time doing doctoral research, a third of my time starting new companies, and a third of my time tutoring and teaching at places such as California Miramar University, UCLA, UCSB, the Naval Postgraduate School, and Central Texas College.

Perfect! Eric is an excellent math tutor. He works extremely well with my son and takes additional time to explain math concepts and practical lessons. Both professional and personable we feel very grateful in finding such a wonderful man. Lastly, our son continues to maintain an “A” grade in math. EPIC indeed!!!
