About Cathy
My name is Cathy Schroeder, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. I taught for 36 years while raising 3 boys. Most of those teaching years were in the 4th - 6th grades. I taught full time for 36 years and halftime the last two years. Positive, organized, creative, and hardworking are adjectives that describe me. I believe every child wants to and can reach their potential given the correct tools. I assess students where they are at and strive to take them where they need to be. To accomplish that, communication is key. Working together as a team is essential to meeting students' needs. I have loved working with students. I miss seeing their smiles everyday. I believe being an online tutor allows me to continue to work with the "kiddos". The world is ever changing. I know that helping your child to succeed is a somewhat selfish need of mine. You can trust me to use my expertise to get the to get their needs met in the most positive manner possible.
