About Humza
This tutoring will make math fun and easy for students to learn. Students who may be falling behind will be helped in catching up. Our services work to push students to the next level, and enhance their learning experience.
I am interested in teaching because I have siblings that I have taught before and I was also working at Kumon earlier.
I am a sophomore at Lexington High School. I have taken honors level courses throughout middle and high scool. I have an A average in math. I also have younger family members who I help out with math often at home. I was also working at Kumon before the pandemic. I have also attended RSM in 7th and 8th grade.

When working with a new student, I will begin by assessing their knowledge of math to determine the student's level of understanding. I will plan accordingly to cater to each student's needs. I will use my own personal experience alongside resources like KhanAcademy and other online tools in order to guide the student's learning. We will go over a topic each day and the student will receive practice problems as well as challenge problems to work their critical thinking skills. The students will also be assigned homework so that they have more opportunities to practice and retain the knowledge they learn during the sessions.
I've mostly worked with students in elementary and middle school.
