Joel was extremely helpful in helping me with Advanced Chemistry and overall a great guy! I absolutely loved how patient he would work with me. If I didn’t understand something he would work through it a million times to make sure I would get it correct. I really struggled in chem 1st semester with a low C and started turoring with him and my grade by the end of second semester was a 89.7- he made chemistry fun! He helped me understand and apply the topics I was learning in class to real world situations. It was always a joy to meet with him, he always helped me, with anything, even if he has a busy schedule he always has time to sit all his students in! He also made sure to go over all the topics before a test or a quiz to make sure I’m on top of it! This is the first class I have pretty much understood and found joy in it because I was actually understanding it! He also gives out cool pencils, pens, highlighters and all sorts of goodies(i’m pretty sure they have good luck attached to them lol)! Lately, I needed some help in algebra 2, he was willing to help me with a subject he doesn’t normally help students with; but he also helped me grade go up a crazy amount and helped me understand it better! I would definitely recommend him if your looking for a chem tutor who will be patient, go at your own pace, and help you find joy in the subject!

Joel is an amazing Chemistry tutor! He helped and motivated my daughter immensely throughout the semester! When I was in tenth grade, I took AP Chemistry. Out of fear that I was not going to do good enough, I decided to get Joel so I could be better prepared for the class. Personally, having Joel was great for me and so much fun. He was almost always available for me and based on my knowledge regarding chemistry before and after his classes, I most definitely did so much better in my class because of Joel. Every time I was confused on topics or didn't understand my chemistry teacher's quick lectures, Joel was able to explain and I felt well prepared for the quizzes and tests. Strongly, strongly recommend!
